A New Trono For Mary
This is the new trono or throne which today, Easter Sunday will be used to carry the statue of Nuestra Señora de la Aurora, Our Lady of the (New) Dawn, in procession around the village.
Really good to have happened by your blog.Good Friday evening at approx.10pm was even for we of no faith very moving.... to be topped by the Easter Sunday opening of the Church Doors and the band and the confetti and the subsequent procession.....we were made to feel very welcome visiting participants in a ritual obviously so much part of a community that still know what community is about...we have much yet to learn...Viva Frigiliana!
